Europian Yacht Of The Year 2003
The competition takes place in several categories:
1. 1. Yachts to 10
2. 2. Yachts from 10 to 12
3. 3. Yachts from 12 to 15
4. 4. Yachts above 15
5. 5. Most innovative yacht.
Our yacht Pegaz 28 as the only one from Polish yachts and for the first time in history, was classified to the final five among such yachts as : Sadler 29, Dragon Fly 920, Sanbeam 26, Benetou Oceans 323.
Final tests took place in Southampton and Barcelona.
The announcement of results of the competition according to ‘ the Oscar method " took place during solemn banquet in Deusseldorf on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the magazine "YACHT".
Unfortunately, in our group won trimaran - Dragoon Fly, which in first opinions of testing teams was not supposed to be taken in consideration in the final classification.
Perhaps it was good, because thanks to this success and also defeat, we decided to create yacht -Arion 29 which should be unrivalled in the next edition.
