First Skippi650 EuroCup 2007 in Berlin!
From 5th to 8th July EuroCup 2007 took place in Berlin/Wannsee.
It was the first International Euro Cup with participants from three countries Germany, Austria and Poland.
In the start list we had 25 boats, one from Austria, seventeen from Germany and seven from Poland.
We could see very exciting and thrilling races with a lucky winner in the end because the first Andrzej Wegner (Poland) and the second Waldemar Sałata (Poland) had the same points at the end. How small the difference has been between the places three to five only you can see in the results list, actually one point, third place Stefan Wenzel (Germany) 25points, fourth place Tomasz Bączkiewicz (Poland) 26 points, fifth place Paweł Tarnowski (Poland) 27 points and sixth placed Artur Ceran (Poland) 30 points.
A special thank you to the organizer Berlin Yacht Club SV03 and the sponsors of the first Skippi650 EuroCup 2007. Without all the affords they put in this fantastic regatta weekend wouldn’t be possible.
At least but not last we are very proud that our Skippi650 is the first polish boat which managed to rise an international sport class.
